Friends General Store

Friends General Store is located in the Taj Complex in the Osmanpura area of Aurangabad. We are situated right near the Tara Pan Shop, which is a place where many people gather in the evenings. The complex is usually full of activity with people coming and going from all the different shops. Our store is not very large, but we make the most of every bit of space we have. We have shelves that go almost to the ceiling, filled with snacks, sodas, and various dry goods. Sometimes it takes us a moment to find exactly what a customer is looking for because we have so much packed in. The counter is an old piece of furniture that has been with us since we started. It has plenty of marks on it but it does the job. We don't have a big staff, so it is usually just one or two of us handling everything from stocking the shelves to cleaning the floor. The mornings are for sorting out the new stock and the evenings are usually the busiest time when people are out for their walks. We enjoy the noise and the energy of the Taj Complex. It is a nice place to work because you get to see so many different people every day. We don't use any big advertisements; we just keep the doors open and wait for the regulars to stop by.
