Durga Cafe

Durga Cafe is at Shop number 11, right across from MIT College. We are out on the Beed bypass in the Satara Aurangabad area. Being near a college means we see a lot of students all day long. They usually come by between classes or after they finish for the day. It’s a busy little spot in Aurangabad with the zip code 431001. We’ve been here for a bit now, just serving the people who pass by on the bypass. The road is always active, especially with people traveling through Maharashtra. We aren't a fancy place with lots of decorations. It’s just a simple cafe where you can sit for a bit. We spend most of our time in the kitchen or behind the counter. My family and I handle most of the work ourselves. We didn't start this with some big grand plan, we just wanted a shop near the college. The location works well for us since everyone knows where MIT is. Sometimes it gets crowded when exams are on, and other times it’s more relaxed. We don’t do anything special for promotion; the students just tell their friends and they show up. It’s a straightforward life here at Shop 11. We open up early and stay until the evening. If you’re driving along the Beed bypass, you’ll see our small sign. It’s just a local cafe for the neighborhood, and we like it that way.
