Digvijay Concrete Pipe Co.

We run Digvijay Concrete Pipe Co. out of the Mahesh Apartment area in Saraw Society. It’s a bit of an interesting spot for a pipe company, being near the Gajanan Maharaj Mandir. You can often hear the bells from the temple during the day. We deal with concrete pipes, which are heavy and take up a lot of room. Our daily routine involves a lot of checking the inventory and making sure the pipes are stored safely. It’s not the kind of work you can do in a suit and tie. Most of us are in old clothes that we don’t mind getting dirty. The apartment building is a well-known spot, so people don’t have much trouble finding us once they get to Saraw Society. We spend time coordinating where the pipes need to go and how we’re going to get them there. It’s a lot of logistics for such big items. Sometimes we just stand outside for a bit and watch the people going toward the mandir. The air is often thick with the smell of incense from the temple mixed with the earthy smell of wet concrete. We aren’t a giant corporation with hundreds of employees. We’re just a few people making sure the work gets done correctly. It’s a steady pace, and we like being part of this little neighborhood while we go about our daily business with the pipes.
