Dahad Classes

We operate out of the basement hall of Shriniwas Apartment in Garkheda. It’s on the main road of Ulkanagari, so it’s easy to spot once you are in the area. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler during the hot Aurangabad summers, which is nice for the students. Dahad Classes is not a fancy place with glass walls or modern art. It’s just a large hall partitioned into smaller areas where we can teach. We have a lot of benches and a few fans that hum away all day long. Since we are on the main road, there is a constant stream of traffic passing by outside, but once you come down the stairs, it’s mostly just the sound of someone talking at the front of the room. We keep a lot of old files and textbooks stacked in the corners because we never know when we might need to look something up. Most of the people who come here are from the surrounding apartment blocks or neighborhoods like Ulkanagari. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who handle the teaching and the administration. It’s a very practical way to run things. We show up, we teach, and we go home. It’s been our routine for years now, and we’re quite comfortable with the way things are. We just take it one day at a time here.
