Creation Group Classes

Our spot is House No 232 in Dana Bazar, right near Nehru Chowk. Being so close to the Army Cantonment in Aurangabad, you can always hear the activity from that side. It’s a busy corner of the city. We call ourselves Creation Group Classes. It’s a simple setup inside an old house. We turned the rooms into classrooms with benches and boards. It feels more like a home than a school, really. There’s a lot of walking back and forth between the rooms. In the afternoons, the street outside gets very loud with people shopping in the bazar. You can hear the vegetable sellers and the motorbikes. We just try to keep the windows shut to stay focused on the lessons. The students come here after their regular school hours. Some of them have been coming for years. We know most of the families around here. It’s not a big corporate chain. It’s just us in this house in Dana Bazar. We spend a lot of time grading papers and explaining math or science problems. Sometimes we have tea in the back room when there’s a break. The lighting isn't always the best, but we make it work. We’ve got a lot of books piled up in the corners. It’s a bit cramped when a big group comes in, but everyone finds a seat. We just keep doing what we do every day. It is just a practical place for learning.
