Bothra Provision

Our family has been running Bothra Provision here in Phulenagar for quite some time now. We are located on Eknath Nagar Road in the Osmanpura area of Aurangabad. It is a straightforward kind of place where we focus on getting the staples right. We have piles of rice bags and different kinds of dals that we weigh out for customers. The shop is often a bit crowded because we try to fit as much stock as possible into the space we have. You might see some loose grains on the floor near the weighing scale, but that’s just part of the job. I spend my day talking to the ladies from the nearby houses who come in to check the prices and buy their weekly supplies. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights, just the standard bulbs and the natural light from the front door. Sometimes we get a bit behind on the paperwork, but the customers don’t seem to mind as long as they get their sugar and salt. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so we usually have a small fan blowing behind the counter to keep us going. We know most of the families around here by name and we know what they usually buy before they even ask for it. It’s a simple business, built on being here every day and making sure the neighborhood has what it needs. Nothing more, nothing less than a local provision store.
