Bhagyashree General Store

I run Bhagyashree General Store in Karmad, which is part of the Aurangabad district in Maharashtra. My shop is located on the Main Road, right across from the Police Chowki. Having the police station nearby makes the area feel a bit more orderly, I guess. I sell all sorts of general items that people need in their daily lives. From stationery to cleaning supplies and some snacks, I try to keep a bit of everything. The shop isn't very large, so things are stacked pretty high. I often have to use a small ladder to reach the stuff on the top shelves. Aurangabad can get very hot in the summer, so I usually have a fan going behind the counter all day. Most of my customers are people living in the Karmad area who don't want to travel all the way into the main city for small things. I handle the money, the ordering, and the cleaning myself mostly. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up. Sometimes people stop by just to chat for a minute while they buy a pack of cigarettes or some matches. It feels like a community spot in a way. I’ve got the 431001 pin code marked on my bills. It is just a regular life here, keeping the store running and making sure I don't run out of the basics. The door stays open from early morning until late evening most days.
