Ashtvinayak Classes

We have been running Ashtvinayak Classes for a few years now in the Aurangabad Ho area. It is right near the Maruti Temple in Khokadpura, so it is usually quite easy for the students to find us. Usually, the mornings start early when we open up the shutters. You can hear the temple bells sometimes if the windows are open. The room isn't huge, but it fits the benches and the chalkboard just fine. Khokadpura is a busy part of town, especially in the afternoons when everyone is out and about. We mostly just keep to ourselves and focus on what needs doing for the day. Sometimes the street gets a bit noisy with the traffic and the people walking to the temple, but it is just part of being here. The students come in, they sit down, and we get to work. We have some old fans that hum a lot when it gets hot in the summer months, which is most of the time in Maharashtra. There isn’t much to look at on the walls, just some old calendars and a clock that is sometimes a few minutes fast. We like being near the temple because it makes the place feel calm even when the street is chaotic. It’s just a normal place where people come to learn things. We try to keep the chairs tidy, but they always end up in a mess by the end of the day.
