Anjali Provision Store

Being at Shope No. 1 near Matoshi Lawans is interesting because of all the weddings. When there's a big event, people are always running in for last-minute things like extra sugar or some matches. We are located in Cidco, right near Ayodhya Nagar, and it’s a pretty busy spot most of the year. The store is filled with big jars of spices and pulses. I spent most of yesterday trying to fix a leak in the back room, so things are a bit messy right now. Aurangabad can get quite dry, and the dust settles on everything. I try to wipe the jars down every morning, but it's a never-ending task. Some of the regulars have been coming here since we first opened our doors. We don't have any fancy displays, just wooden shelves that my cousin helped me put up years ago. They’re a bit crooked if you look closely. I handle the accounts myself in a thick ledger book every night. Sometimes the math doesn't add up right away and I have to go over it twice. It’s just me and occasionally a helper boy when he decides to show up on time. We keep the usual stuff, things people need for their daily cooking. I don't really bother with much else. It's a small place, but it keeps me busy from morning till night. Sometimes I just stand by the door and watch the traffic going towards Ayodhya Nagar when it's slow. That is my day.
