If you walk toward the Hanuman Mandir in Mukundwadi, you’ll find us right nearby. Anand Traders And General Store is just a typical neighborhood shop. We have a bit of everything, from notebooks for the school kids to cooking oil for the local kitchens. The sound of the temple bells often drifts into the shop, which is a nice background to the day. We’ve got a lot of items crammed onto the shelves, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for. The shop floor is a bit uneven, but nobody seems to mind. We spend our mornings checking the stock and seeing what needs to be ordered from the bigger wholesalers in Aurangabad Ho. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes around. The regulars come in and usually stay for a few minutes to talk about what’s happening in the colony. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Most people just know we are here because we’ve been here for years. In the evenings, the street gets quite lively with people coming out after work. We keep the lights on and help whoever needs a last-minute item for their dinner. It’s just a regular life running a store in this part of town, and we wouldn't have it any other way. It gets dusty, and the work is hard on the back, but it's what we do every single day without fail. We just take it one customer at a time.
