Amey General Store

You can find Amey General Store at Nakhate Cornor on Osmanpura Road in Aurangabad. We are right opposite the CMS Computer Classes, which means we get a lot of students coming in throughout the day looking for pens, refills, or a quick packet of chips. The shop is small and can feel a bit crowded when more than three people are inside at once. I have things hanging from the ceiling hooks to save space—mostly small packets of shampoo and snacks. It’s a bit of a maze in here, but I know exactly where everything is kept. The street outside is always busy with bikes and people walking to the market. We don't have a big sign, just the name painted above the door. The furniture inside is a bit worn out, and the counter has some scratches from years of use, but it does the job. My day usually starts early by cleaning the front area and checking what sold out the day before. I don't use any fancy marketing tricks or try to look like a big supermarket. It’s just a honest local store for the people of Osmanpura. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two, and we just use a small rechargeable lamp to keep things going. It's a simple life, and I enjoy being part of this little corner of the city. We don't need much more than that to keep going.
