Adiel General Store

If you find yourself on Roshan Gate Road in Aurangabad, you’ll see Adiel General Store. We are right there in the 431001 area. I’ve been here for a bit now, running the place. It’s a general store, so we carry a bit of everything that a family might need during the week. I spend my mornings stocking the milk and bread first thing. Then I move on to the dry goods like lentils and spices. Aurangabad-Maharashtra can get pretty warm in the summer, so I try to keep the shop cool for whoever comes in. I don’t really do much advertising. People just see the sign and walk inside. Roshan Gate Road is a busy place, so there is never a quiet moment. I have my regular spot behind the desk where I handle the cash and talk to the customers. Sometimes I forget where I put the smaller items, so I have to go looking through the boxes in the back. It’s a lot of work keeping track of all the inventory by myself. I don’t have a big staff or anything, just me and occasionally some help from family. I try to keep the place tidy but with so many boxes coming in, it gets a bit cluttered sometimes. Anyway, it’s a decent enough spot to spend the day. I see a lot of the same faces every single morning. It keeps me busy enough and I don't really have much to complain about.
