Achivement Classes

Bhim Nagar is a quiet part of Aurangabad, and that’s where we have our classes. We are in the 431002 area. The place is just a couple of rooms on the ground floor of a residential building. We started this because the kids in the colony needed somewhere to study after school. It’s not a big corporate institute. We just have some basic furniture and a place to sit. The walls are painted a simple white, though they could probably use a fresh coat soon. Most of the children come from the houses right around here. They just walk over in their slippers. We don’t have any fancy computers or projectors. We just use the books they get from school. Sometimes it gets a bit hot in the afternoons because the sun hits the front of the building, but we have a couple of fans. We usually stay open until about eight at night. Parents often drop in to pay the fees or just to see how things are going. We don’t have a big staff, just two or three of us taking different subjects. It’s a very simple operation. We don't spend money on flyers or big posters. Word travels fast in Bhim Nagar, so that’s how new students find us. We just try to keep things honest and make sure the kids are actually reading their lessons. It’s a decent way to spend the day. Usually, we drink some tea between the batches to keep our energy up.
