Karuna Ladies Beauty Parlour

Karuna Ladies Beauty Parlour is located in the Amba Market, right on Hariharganj Road in Aurangabad, Bihar. It is a small place where local women come to get ready for weddings or just for their regular grooming. We have been here for quite some time now. The market is always crowded, but our shop is a bit of a quiet corner for the ladies. We don’t have any of those expensive machines or imported products. We use what we can find locally and what we know works for the skin types here. It’s mostly just me and a helper working throughout the day. We don’t have a big sign, just a small one near the entrance of the market. Most of our customers come from the nearby villages or from the houses around Hariharganj Road. We talk about our families and the local news while I do their hair or thread their eyebrows. It’s a very simple setup. The chairs aren’t the newest, but they are alright. We don’t do any big advertising. Word of mouth is how everyone knows about us. In a small place like Amba, everyone knows everyone anyway. We open up early and close once the market starts to quiet down in the evening. We don’t have a fancy mission. We just try to help the ladies feel a bit better when they walk out. It is just a regular part of the community here.
