Jyoti Herbal Beauty Parlour

My shop is Jyoti Herbal Beauty Parlour and we are located in the Daudnagar Market area. Specifically, we are at Bhakhruwan Mor in Aurangabad-Bihar. Being in a market area means it is always noisy and crowded outside, but inside we try to keep things a bit more relaxed. We use herbal products for most of the things we do, like the face packs and hair oils. Many of the local women prefer these over the chemical stuff. The parlour is tucked away near the Mor, so you have to look for the sign. We have a few stations for threading and a back room for more private things like waxing. The furniture is mostly wooden and we have some plants near the window to make it feel a bit more natural. It’s a small operation, usually just me and one other girl working here. We get a lot of brides coming in during the wedding season, which is our busiest time. The rest of the year it’s just the usual regulars. We don’t have a fancy website or anything like that. People just know us from word of mouth in Daudnagar. We open when the market gets going and close up when the shops around us start pulling down their shutters. It’s a steady business and we like being part of this market community. It is a good way to earn a living.
