Surya Enterprise

Surya Enterprise is located in Sohramau Village, which is part of the Unnao block. We are right near the State Bank of India, so there are always people hanging around waiting for the bank to open or standing in line at the ATM. It makes our corner of the village feel quite busy most of the time. We get a lot of mail through the Nawabganj Post Office which is just nearby too. The shop itself is pretty basic. We have a front counter where we handle all the paperwork and then the storage area for our stock in the back. Being on the Lucknow Unnao stretch means there is a lot of movement. We see a lot of trucks and tractors passing by every single hour of the day. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with all the horns, but you stop noticing it after you have worked here for a few years. We started this place because we wanted to work for ourselves right here in the village. It is a lot of long hours, especially during the harvest seasons when everyone is moving goods. We drink a lot of chai and talk to the farmers who stop by to rest. It is not a fancy corporate office with air conditioning and glass walls. It is just a practical workplace where we get things done. Most days we are just trying to keep up with the orders and making sure the inventory is right.
