Saraswathi Matriculation Higher Secondary School

Our school is situated right by the Chennai Bypass Road in the Ammam Palayam area of Salem. Being near the highway means it’s easy to find, though the sound of the traffic is always there in the background. Saraswathi Matriculation Higher Secondary School has been sitting here for quite a while now. The building is pretty large, with many windows looking out towards the road. We have students coming from Pudupet and other nearby villages. It’s a busy place from eight in the morning until late afternoon. The playground gets a lot of sun, so the kids are always a bit dusty by the time they go home. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. The principal’s room is just a small office with stacks of books and files everywhere. Our teachers are hardworking people who live nearby. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure everyone follows the rules. It’s a simple life here. We have some trees in the corner of the lot where kids sit during their break time. The gate is usually open for parents to come and talk to us about their children. It’s just a normal school that’s been part of the community for years. We don't make big promises, we just show up and teach. It’s just what we do every day. It's a bit loud with the trucks, but we're used to it.
