Harur International School

We are located on Salem Main Road in the Dodampatty area of Harur. Despite the name, we are a pretty grounded local school that focuses on the basics. The main road is always busy with buses and trucks going toward Salem, so there is a constant hum of engines in the background. Our school building sits back a bit from the road to keep things safe. We have students coming in from all around Harur and the smaller villages that surround us. Every morning, the buses drop them off and the whole place comes alive with noise. We have the usual subjects and a group of teachers who have been with us for quite a while now. The classrooms have big windows to let the air in, which is definitely needed during the hotter months of the year. We have a small playground area where the kids play during their breaks. It is nothing too elaborate, just some open space to breathe and run around. We spend a lot of time keeping up with the local requirements and making sure the kids are actually learning what they need for their future. It is a lot of management and keeping track of everyone. Some of the parents come by to talk about how their children are doing, and we try to be as open as possible with them. It is just a normal part of life here in Harur. We are just doing the work.
