Our shop is over at No. 81 A on 35th Street. It’s right there on 4th Avenue in Ashok Nagar. If you know where Jaibharatham is, we are right opposite that. Being near Jawahar Vidayalaya Primary School means we see a lot of kids and parents passing by every single day. It gets noisy when school lets out but we are used to it by now. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time. The building is older but it stays cool enough in the summer. We handle a lot of different things here at Usha Enterprises. It’s mostly just keeping track of orders and talking to people who come through the door. We don't have a big shiny showroom or anything. It’s mostly just shelves and a desk where we do the paperwork. The street can get crowded with parked cars sometimes. We try to keep the front area clean but dust always finds its way in. It’s a decent neighborhood to work in. Most of the people around here are regulars who have lived in Ashok Nagar for years. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s not complicated. We open up early and stay until the evening. Sometimes we stay late if a delivery is coming in. The fan on the ceiling makes a bit of a clicking sound, but you stop noticing it after a while.
