Debiprasad Singh

My name is Debiprasad Singh and I operate out of Asansol. This place has been my base for quite some time now, specifically in the 713301 area. Asansol is a town that never really stops moving, what with all the industrial stuff and the trains passing through. I spend most of my mornings getting things ready for whatever the day brings. It is not always easy because things change fast around here. I do not really have a big story to tell about how I started. I just needed a way to work and this was the place to do it. The street outside can be quite dusty and noisy, but inside I just focus on the tasks at hand. It is a one-man show mostly, so I have to handle everything from opening the door to cleaning up at night. People from the neighborhood stop by sometimes just to talk or ask for small things. I have seen the town change a lot over the last few years, but my daily routine stays almost the same. I try to be honest with my work and just get it done. It is a small setup in a busy part of the town. There is nothing fancy about the way I do things here. Just plain work and trying to make ends meet like everyone else in this part of West Bengal. I hope to keep going as long as I can for many years.
