Down in Arwal, specifically in Satpura village, is where you’ll find our little group. We are part of the Panch-Sonwarsa Panchayat. It’s a rural spot, and Arwal Farmers Producer Company Limited is just our way of organizing the work we do in the fields. Most of us have lived here our whole lives, so we know the land pretty well. Satpuratola is a small place but everyone knows each other. We decided to put this company together to make things a bit more official for the local farming families. There’s no big corporate building here, just our homes and the fields where the real work happens. Sometimes we meet up under a tree or at one of the houses to discuss what we’re planting or how the weather is looking for the next month. It’s hard work, and the days are long, but that’s just how life is in the Arwal block. We handle the paperwork when we have to, though we’d much rather be outside.
