Aurelec Data Processing Systems

Our place, Aurelec Data Processing Systems, is located in the Prayogashala building in Auroville. It’s a bit different than working in a big city like Mumbai or Delhi. Auroville has its own pace, and we are right in the middle of it. The Prayogashala building itself has a simple, functional design. It isn't a high-rise with glass walls; it feels much more connected to the ground. We have our equipment set up inside and we just get on with our work. Most days are pretty quiet, which helps us focus. You don’t hear the constant honking of horns here, maybe just the sound of a bike or people talking as they pass by. The office isn't fancy. It has what we need—tables, computers, and a place to sit. It’s an honest sort of space. We’ve been here for a long time and the building has become very familiar to us, every creak and corner. We don’t have a big reception area or shiny signs. It’s just a place where work happens. We like the simplicity of it. Working in Auroville means you’re part of a specific community, and that reflects in how we run things here. It is practical and unpretentious. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and then head home. It is a steady way to live and work. We appreciate the quiet mornings the most. The air feels a bit different out here and it keeps things calm for us.
