Uma Filtfab

Our shop, Uma Filtfab, is located in the Diamond Apartment building, specifically shops 9 and 10. We’re right across from Rudraksh Residency on Walia Road in Kosambdi. It’s a decent spot, though the road gets quite dusty when the wind picks up. We focus on industrial fabrics and filters. Most of our day is spent measuring out material and making sure the cuts are right. It’s the kind of work that requires a bit of patience and a steady hand. The shop isn't huge, so we have to be organized about where we put the rolls of fabric. Often, you’ll see us moving things around just to make a bit of walking space. We deal with a lot of factory managers and technicians who need very specific types of filters for their machines. They usually know exactly what they want, so we just get it ready for them. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. People mostly find out about us by word of mouth or by just driving past on Walia Road. It’s a quiet enough existence, just keeping up with the orders and making sure the quality is what it should be. We like being part of the Kosambdi community. It’s a practical business for people who need real solutions for their filtration needs, and we just keep it simple.
