Svm Tea & Industries Limited

Being located in the G.I.D.C. Industrial Estate in Ankleshwar means we are surrounded by factories and warehouses. Our unit is 4802/B and it is a practical space where we handle the tea. The smell inside is actually quite nice because of all the dried leaves being moved around. It is a lot of work to keep things moving and the machines can get pretty loud when they are running full tilt. We spend a lot of time checking the bags and making sure everything is sealed up properly before it goes out. The industrial estate gets very hot in the summer and the metal roof doesn't help much. We just wear simple clothes and keep some fans going. There is no corporate office feel here at all. It is just a place where work happens. We have a small area where we taste the tea to make sure it is what it should be. The workers here have been around for a while and we all know the routine. Ankleshwar G.I.D.C. is a maze sometimes but we have been at this spot for long enough that the regulars know where to turn. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorations. We just focus on getting the crates loaded onto the trucks and keeping the floor swept. It is a simple business but it keeps us very busy from morning until the sun goes down every day.
