We have been at Plot No. C1-b for quite some time now, holding down the fort at 417-418. It is a busy place, but not in a way that looks very organized to outsiders. Most mornings start with the sound of the gate creaking open and the guys getting the forklift warmed up. We handle a lot of containers here, and they just sit out in the yard until they are needed. The sun beats down on the metal, so it can get pretty hot if you are out there for too long. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably just find one of us in the small office trying to keep the paperwork from flying away when the fan is on. It is a lot of back-and-forth with the trucks, and sometimes the road outside gets blocked up, which makes the neighbors a bit grumpy. We’ve known most of the people around here for years, so it is a friendly enough spot. We don't spend money on big ads or anything. We just do the work and hope people are satisfied enough to come back. The equipment is a bit older, and the paint is peeling in a few places, but it gets the job done. We just keep our heads down and worry about the containers. It’s a simple life at 417-418, and we like it that way.
