Shakti Graphics

If you look for Plot No. 5002-2, you will find us buried under stacks of paper and empty ink containers. This place smells like ink and warm plastic all day long. We started Shakti Graphics because we knew how to run the printers and we just never stopped. It is not a clean environment where everything is tucked away. There are proofs laying on every table and the hum of the rollers never really stops until we turn the lights off at night. My brother usually handles the layout stuff while I keep the machines fed with paper. We have had some of these machines for a decade and they still do the job if you treat them right. It gets a bit chaotic when three different people want things done by tomorrow morning. We don't have a receptionist sitting at a desk. You just walk in and yell hello over the noise of the press. Sometimes the colors don't come out right the first time so we have to do it again until it looks like it should. We get a lot of locals coming in for small jobs and we treat them the same as the bigger orders. It is just how we do things here. We spend a lot of time cleaning the rollers so the ink stays sharp. It is a messy job but we are used to it by now.
