Akar Printers

You can find Akar Printers over at Plot No. 5715. We are tucked away right behind V-Trans, which is the easiest way to explain where we are if you’re trying to find us for the first time. The shop is usually full of the smell of ink and the sound of the machines running. It can get pretty loud when we have a big job on the press. We have been doing this for a long time now. Most days are spent checking proofs or fixing paper jams that happen at the worst possible times. The floors usually have some paper scraps on them by the end of the shift. We aren’t a giant factory, just a local printing place where we know how to handle the equipment. Sometimes customers come in with files that aren't quite ready, so we spend time cleaning things up so they look okay on paper. It’s a messy job sometimes, getting ink on your hands and clothes, but that’s part of it. The location behind V-Trans is actually quite handy for getting supplies delivered. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decor because the machines take up all the space anyway. We just keep our heads down and make sure the colors look right before things go out the door. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on for us and our families.
