Ravi Packaging

Finding us isn't too hard because we are right behind Vijay Transport at Plot No. C1/B 131, Bh Vijay Transport. Our whole day is filled with the sound of cardboard moving and tape guns clicking. We make all sorts of packaging materials for Ravi Packaging. The warehouse is usually stacked high with boxes, and sometimes it’s hard to walk through the aisles when a big order is ready. We aren't a big corporation. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and we like it that way. My nephew helps with the loading, and I handle most of the customer calls from a small wooden desk. The air in here always smells a bit like paper and glue. It’s not a glamorous job, and your clothes end up covered in dust by the end of the shift. But people always need boxes, so we stay steady. When the monsoon hits, we have to be really careful about the roof because any leak can ruin the stock. We’ve patched it up a few times ourselves. We don't spend any money on fancy advertising. Most of our customers come to us because they know we are right here and we do the work. It’s just a simple, local business trying to do things right without any fuss or complicated mission statements. We keep the machines running as much as we can, and if a customer needs something custom, we just see if we can figure it out for them.
