Fosroc Chemicals

At Plot No. 6203-4, you will find the Fosroc Chemicals facility. It’s a straightforward operation where we handle various chemical products for the building trade. The space is divided between storage and a small area where we do some basic mixing or packaging. You’ll see plenty of blue drums and white bags stacked up against the walls. We have to be careful about where we put things so we don't run out of walking space. The light inside is a bit dim, mostly coming from the open shutters at the front. We spend a lot of our time checking labels and making sure the quantities are correct before anything leaves the gate. The road outside is usually busy with tractors and trucks, so there is a lot of noise and dust coming in. We keep a broom handy to sweep out the entrance every couple of hours. It’s a lot of physical work, moving bags and drums around all day. We don't have much in the way of amenities, just a small sink and a place to sit during the break. The guys usually chat about the cricket scores or the weather while they wait for the next truck to show up. It isn’t a complicated life here. We just make sure the chemicals are handled properly and the orders go out on time to whoever bought them.
