Adarsh Nivasi Shala

Our school, Adarsh Nivasi Shala, is located on Plot No H/3222 in the GIDC area of Ankleshwar. We are right on Garden City Road. Being in an industrial zone like GIDC, the surroundings are quite different from a typical village school. There are factories and offices all around us, but we have our own space tucked away. This is a residential school, so many of our students live here on the premises. That means we are busy almost twenty-four hours a day. The building has dormitories for the students and classrooms for their daily lessons. It is a functional place designed to house and teach kids from various backgrounds. The dining hall is where everyone gathers for meals, and it is usually the loudest part of the day. We have to keep a strict schedule to make sure everything runs on time, from breakfast to bedtime. The rooms are basic with beds and lockers for the kids to keep their things. Because we are in Ankleshwar, it can get quite dusty and the air smells like the nearby industries sometimes. We have some small garden patches to try and bring some green to the area. It takes a lot of effort to look after so many students living together, but our staff works hard at it every day. We also have a small playground for evening games before study time begins.
