Binayak Science College

We've been here in Angul for a bit now. Most folks in Odisha know how it is with science colleges, things get busy fast. Our building is right here in Angul, 759122. It’s not a fancy place but it does the job for the kids coming in to learn their physics and chemistry. Sometimes the fans make noise during the afternoon heat but we get through it. The winter mornings are a bit easier on everyone since we don't need the fans then. Students arrive early, some on cycles and some walking from the bus stop. We spend most of our day managing the labs and making sure the registers are filled out right. It’s a lot of paperwork really. The science labs have that specific smell of chemicals that stays on your clothes. We don't have much of a garden but there's some space outside where everyone hangs out between classes. You can hear the traffic from the main road if the windows are open. It’s just a regular part of life here in this part of Odisha. We see the same faces every morning and it's mostly quiet until the lunch break starts. Then the whole place gets loud for a while. Usually, we are just trying to keep everything running without too much trouble. It's practical work. Nothing more to it than that. People come here because it's local and they know where to find us. We just carry on with the lessons and the lab work day after day.
