Royal Saffron Company

Our business is based in Sambora, which is part of the Pampore area in Kashmir. If you know anything about this region, you know it is famous for the purple flowers that grow in the fields around here. We are right in the middle of it. The office is a simple place where we handle all the work related to our saffron. It is a local village vibe in Sambora. We aren't a big corporation with high-rise offices; we are just people from the area doing what we know. The air smells different here during harvest time. We spend a lot of time talking to the growers and checking the quality of what comes in. It is a lot of manual work and sitting around sorting through things. We are easy to find if you are driving through Pampore. People around here are friendly and will point you to Sambora if you get lost. We have been part of this community for a long time. Our days are filled with the usual stuff—answering the phone, weighing things out, and making sure the packaging is okay. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just deal with saffron and try to do it right from our home base here in the valley. It is a quiet life for the most part, except when things get busy in the fields. We just take things one day at a time here.
