Al-Sarwat Convent Sr. Sec. School is located on K P Road in Anantnag. Up here, the weather really dictates how our day goes. When it’s cold, everyone is bundled up in heavy coats, and we keep the heaters going in the classrooms. We prefer to spend our time on the lessons and making sure the students are prepared for their exams. The mountain air is fresh, and during the breaks, the yard is full of kids talking and playing. It’s a very grounded place. We deal with the usual school problems like broken chalk or leaky roofs when it rains hard.
