Lepakshi Milk Products

Our shop is at Door No. 7-3-226/12 in the Dasa Complex, right on the Main Bazar road. Being in the bazaar means it’s always loud and there are people everywhere from dawn until late at night. We deal with milk products, so we have to be here before the sun even thinks about coming up. The Dasa Complex is an older building, and our unit is tucked in there with a few other shops. It’s a bit cramped, especially when we have a lot of stock coming in. We spend a lot of time cleaning the containers and making sure the refrigeration is working right. The power goes out sometimes, and then we all have to scramble to get the generator going so nothing spoils. It’s stressful, but it’s just part of the job. Most of our customers are locals who have been buying from us for years. They come in, complain about the weather or the prices, and then go on their way. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where to find us in the bazaar. My brother handles the books, and I mostly look after the shop floor. It’s a family-run kind of thing. We aren't looking to change much. We just want to keep the doors open and keep the customers happy with what we have. Sometimes the neighbor's dog sleeps right in front of our entrance.
