Ultratech Cements Ltd,Aditya Birla Group

This setup is a bit different because we are right inside the Ultratech Cements facility in Tadipatri. I’m Jvna Gowtham, an engineer working in the CPP department. You can usually find me or the team in SD Room No-7. It’s a busy environment here in Anantapur, and it’s a lot more technical than a standard retail shop. We deal with the inner workings of the plant every single day. There’s always the sound of machinery in the background and plenty of dust in the air, which is just how a cement plant is. We don't really have customers walking in off the street like a regular shop would. It’s mostly about keeping the operations running smoothly from our side. We are part of the Aditya Birla Group, but on the ground, it just feels like a large group of people trying to hit their daily targets. The heat in Tadipatri is no joke, so we spend a lot of time making sure the equipment doesn't overheat. My workspace in Room 7 isn't huge, but it's where all the planning and fixing happens. We wear our uniforms and safety gear, and we just get on with the job. It's not a flashy lifestyle. We focus on the engineering side of things and try to solve problems as they come up. It's a lot of responsibility, but we take it one day at a time without much fuss. We eat our lunch together and talk about things other than work.
