Gudipadu Village is where we do our thing. It’s located in the Yadiki Mandalam area. Being out in the village means things move a bit differently than they do in the big cities. It’s a bit quieter, but we stay busy enough with the cement. The landscape around here is pretty open, and you can see the trucks coming from a long way off. Most of the people working here are from the nearby areas, so it feels like a local effort. We spend a lot of time dealing with the logistics of moving cement from this rural spot to wherever it’s needed. The sun can be quite harsh out here in the Mandalam, so we try to get the heavy loading done early in the day. It’s a dusty environment, that’s just the reality of cement, so we’re all used to it. We don't have any fancy reception area or air-conditioned offices. It’s a practical site meant for heavy work. There’s a sense of routine that comes with the village life combined with the industrial side of what we do. We talk to the drivers, check the weighbridge, and keep the bags moving. It’s been this way for years. We aren't doing anything revolutionary; we’re just making sure there’s enough cement for the local building projects. Sometimes we sit outside during the breaks and just watch the activity in the village. It’s a decent place to work if you don't mind getting your hands a little dirty. Everyone knows everyone here.
