Sri Lakshmi Book Stal

We are located at 9-6-95 on 80 Feet Road in the Housing Board Colony. It’s a decent-sized road, so it’s easy to find us. The shop, Sri Lakshmi Book Stal, is a regular part of the neighborhood. We’ve been here for a good while, serving the people who live in the colony. Most of our days are spent behind the counter, organizing the latest magazines or school books that come in. The Housing Board Colony is a quiet place compared to the main city center, which we like. We get a mix of people coming in—parents looking for school supplies for their kids or elderly neighbors looking for the daily paper. The shelves are a bit crowded, and we often have to climb a small ladder to reach the top rows. We don’t have air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that keep the air moving. It’s a honest kind of place. We don’t go for anything fancy. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the books are what matter. Sometimes the kids come in just to look at the colorful covers of the storybooks. We know many of the families around here by name. It’s a steady pace of life. We open early and stay open until the evening when the streetlights come on. It’s just a small local business trying to provide what the neighbors need for their studies or reading.
