We are over at 635 B C C Road in Pamidi. It’s an old place, and we’ve been here for quite some time. The building has seen better days, but it serves us well enough. We don’t have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just a local business where we know our neighbors and they know us. Most of the day is spent handling orders and talking to people who come by. Pamidi is a small town, so word of mouth is how most people find out about us. We don’t bother with advertisements or social media much. Our desks are old wooden ones, and the fan on the ceiling makes a bit of a clicking noise, but it keeps the air moving. We deal with various goods depending on the season and what’s in demand. It’s not a high-tech operation. We still use paper ledgers for a lot of things because it feels more reliable. Sometimes the road outside gets blocked with carts, and it’s a bit of a struggle to get things moved. We just take it as it comes. It’s an honest, straightforward way of doing things. We don’t pretend to be something we’re not. We just open up in the morning and see what the day brings. It’s a steady life.
