Berries Computers

Down here in Guntakal, Berries Computers is where we spend most of our daylight hours. It isn't a massive showroom with glass walls or anything like that. Instead, it’s a place filled with parts, screens, and the smell of old electronics. We deal with computers all day long, fixing what's broken or putting together systems for people who need them. Some days are quiet, just us tinkering with a motherboard while listening to the local traffic outside. Other days, everyone seems to have a laptop that won't start at the same time. We don't use big words to explain what’s wrong. If a part is burnt out, we just show it to you. Guntakal is a small enough place where you end up knowing your neighbors, so we try to keep things straight. We might have a bit of a mess on the workbench, but that’s just because there is always something being taken apart or put back together. We’ve been at this for a bit now, and while we aren't the biggest shop around, we keep the lights on by doing what we know. There’s no complicated philosophy here. You bring in a computer that isn't working, and we see if we can make it run again. Sometimes it’s an easy fix, sometimes we have to wait for a part to arrive by bus. It’s just us, a few tools, and a lot of patience. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes through the door.
