Candid Nursery School

If you walk past the Shri Park View Apartment here in Anantapur, you’ll probably hear us before you see us. Being right beside the apartments means there is always something happening. We’re at 2(B), and it’s a fairly straightforward little setup we’ve got. Running a nursery school isn’t exactly a quiet job, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. The kids come in early, usually around the time the sun starts getting really bright, and they bring a lot of energy with them. We spend a lot of time just keeping things organized and making sure everyone has what they need for the day. It’s not a big corporate place with shiny floors and glass walls. It’s just a regular building where we’ve put up some drawings on the walls and tried to make it feel like home. Sometimes the parents stay for a few minutes to chat when they drop the kids off, which is nice. It makes the whole thing feel more like a community project than a business. We focus on the basics—playing, learning some letters, and making sure everyone gets a nap. There’s always a bit of a mess by noon, with toys everywhere and papers on the floor, but we tidy it up before the afternoon rush. We just take it one day at a time here, making sure the kids are safe and happy while their parents are at work.
