Camp - Hi It Finishing School

We’ve been here in Nehuru Nagar Colony for a while now. It’s a quiet enough spot in Anantapur, though the traffic picks up in the afternoons when everyone is heading home. The building itself isn’t anything fancy, just a regular place where we get things done. Most days, we’re just busy working with the students on basic skills they actually need once they finish up their regular classes. It’s funny how much stuff you don’t learn in a standard classroom, so that’s why we’re here. We started out small and stayed that way, mostly because we like knowing everyone who walks through the door. The rooms can get a bit warm in the summer months—Anantapur isn't known for being cool, after all—but we have the fans going and everyone just gets on with it. People usually find us by word of mouth or if they live nearby and see us coming and going every day. There’s always someone around to answer a question if you just pop in. We don’t really do big speeches or formal events. It’s more about sitting down and going through the work. Sometimes we have tea in the back during breaks and talk about how the neighborhood has changed over the years. It’s just a normal part of life here. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed so nobody feels too stressed while they’re trying to learn something new. It works for us.
