Allied Engineering Works

We've been at No. C-1/302 in Phase-I of the Gidc Estate for quite a bit now. It is mostly just us dealing with metal and grease all day long. The shop floor is loud, and there is always something that needs fixing or cutting. People around here know the sound of our machines. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular engineering shed with some tools and a lot of scrap metal lying in the corners. We show up early, get the machines running, and try to get through the orders. Some days are slower than others. The heat in the Gidc area can get pretty bad during the summer, but we keep the fans going. It’s honest work, really. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to answer the phones with a script. Usually, someone just wipes their hands on a rag and picks up if they hear it ringing over the lathe. We handle the day-to-day jobs that come through the door. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy with metal shavings, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just making parts and making sure they fit right before they leave the estate. If you walk past our unit, you’ll probably see us drinking tea by the door during the break. It’s just how we run things here at Allied Engineering Works.
