Our office is at 33/34, and it’s a relatively small space for the kind of work we handle. We aren't one of those big tech firms with glass walls and beanbags; it’s more about rows of desks and a lot of tangled cables under the feet. We spend most of our time staring at screens and trying to figure out how to make things work better for the projects we take on. It can be quite quiet in here when everyone is focused, punctuated only by the sound of clicking keyboards and the occasional phone ringing. The building itself is a bit older, and the elevator sometimes gets stuck between floors, so most of us just take the stairs to stay on the safe side. We don't have a kitchen, just a small corner with a kettle and some biscuits for when we’re working late. We aren't really into the whole corporate culture thing. We just talk like regular people and try to solve problems as they come up. Sometimes a project goes perfectly, and other times we’re scratching our heads until late at night trying to find a bug or a mistake in the logic. We don't have a marketing department to polish our image; we just rely on the fact that we do the work we’re supposed to do. It’s a bit of a grind, but we like the challenge of it most days.
