Our setup is located at 59, Gidc in Vithal Udhyognagar. We are right in the middle of the industrial zone in Anand district. Being a pharmacy and manufacturing unit, we have to keep things quite clean, which is a bit of a challenge when you are surrounded by other factories. The building is a simple concrete structure. We have different rooms for the mixing and the packing of the medicines. It is quiet work for the most part, but there is always a lot of paperwork to keep track of. We do not have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just focus on the batches we are making that day. Most of the people who work here live in the nearby villages and they have been coming here for years. We know each other well. In the afternoons, when the sun is high, we usually take a short break under the shade of the trees outside the gate. We do not make any big claims about being the biggest or anything like that. We are just a local pharmacy unit trying to do our job correctly and stay within the rules. The roads around here can get a bit muddy when it rains, but we still manage to get the supplies in and the finished products out to the distributors. It is just a steady, daily routine that keeps the place going. We focus on the measurements and the hygiene because that is what the job requires.
