You can find us at Plot No. C-1/5 in the GIDC estate. Rachit Pharma Chem. isn’t one of those huge places with glass walls and fancy signs. It’s just a practical site where we work on different chemical batches for the pharmaceutical industry. We wear the white lab coats and masks, but they tend to get dirty or stained pretty fast once the work starts. The air inside usually has that sharp, medicinal smell to it that sticks to your clothes. We spend a lot of our time staring at scales and checking thermometers. It requires a lot of patience and sitting around waiting for things to happen. The building itself is a bit older, and we’ve had to patch up the walls and the floor a few times over the years. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come by to visit, you’ll likely find us in the middle of a process near the reactors or checking the filters. We try to keep things as clean as we can, which is a full-time job in itself in this dusty area. The paperwork for all the different batches takes up a lot of space on the wooden shelves in the back. Sometimes we have to stay late into the night when a batch isn't cooling down fast enough to finish. It’s relatively quiet work compared to the noisy machine shops nearby. We just follow the steps we’ve always used and make sure the quality is okay. It’s just what we do every day.
