Sai Snacks

You can find Sai Snacks at B-101 in the Sun Orbit building. We are right on Sun City Road in the Anand Nagar area. It’s a lively spot because there are so many families living in the apartments around here. Most days, the air inside our space smells like whatever we are frying or roasting at the time. It’s a good smell, though it sticks to your clothes by the end of the shift. We started this because we wanted something to do close to home. It’s not a massive factory; it’s more like a large kitchen where we get things done. We spend a lot of time weighing out portions and sealing bags. Sometimes the machine for the seals acts up and we have to fix it on the fly, which can be frustrating. We get a lot of people walking by in the evenings when they are out for their walks. They might pop their head in to see what’s fresh. We don't have a fancy storefront with neon lights. It’s just a clean space where we work hard. The floors get swept three or four times a day because crumbs are just part of the job. It’s busy, especially around the holidays when everyone wants something to snack on. We just keep our heads down and keep the batches moving. It’s a simple life but it keeps us on our toes.
