Rajadhiraj Sweets

If you are looking for us, we are right on Subhas Road, directly across from the Laxmi Cinema. It is a busy part of town, especially in the evenings when people are coming out of the movies or heading home from work. We have been making sweets here for quite some time. The shop isn't very large, but we make use of all the space we have. In the back, the kitchen is usually humming with activity. We have big vats for milk and frying pans that stay hot most of the day. It is a lot of manual work, stirring and shaping everything by hand. We do not use any fancy automated machines for the delicate stuff because it just doesn't turn out the same way. The staff is like a small family, and some of us have been here since the beginning. We do not have a website or do much on social media. People just know where we are. Sometimes when it is festival season, the line goes out the door and we can barely keep up with the orders. It gets a bit chaotic then, but we enjoy the energy. We try to keep things simple and traditional. The floor is usually a bit sticky and the air smells like sugar and ghee. It is just a regular local sweet shop trying to do things the way they have always been done around here. We just hope the snacks taste good.
