Paramount Hotel

Our hotel is located right near the Tarapur Cross Road in Anand. It is a very busy junction where a lot of people are either heading towards Ahmedabad or going down towards the coast. Because of that, we get all sorts of guests staying with us. Some are just staying for a few hours to rest, while others stay the whole night before starting their trip again the next morning. The rooms are plain and we don't have any of those luxury amenities you see in big cities. We provide a bed, a fan, and a place to wash up. The building itself is an older one, so sometimes the plumbing is a bit noisy or the windows rattle when a heavy truck goes past the crossroad. We spend a lot of time cleaning up the dust because being so close to the main road means it gets in everywhere. It’s a lot of work keeping the place tidy. We don't have a big fancy lobby, just a small desk where we check people in. Sometimes we sit out front in the evenings when the air cools down a bit. We aren't trying to be a five-star place. We just offer a roof and a door that locks for people who are tired from being on the road. It is a simple business and we like it that way because it keeps things uncomplicated for us and for the guests staying here.
