Anand is a pretty calm place compared to the bigger cities in Gujarat, and our spot here reflects that. We are based in Paradise Society, which is just off Bhalej Road. It is a fairly quiet neighborhood, which is nice when you are trying to focus on numbers and records all day long. The office is simple. We have our desks, our computers, and a lot of filing cabinets that seem to get fuller every single month. We have been at this location for some time now, and we know the rhythms of the street quite well. The morning commute isn't too bad, mostly just avoiding the occasional cow or a slow-moving tractor on the way in. We keep things pretty straightforward here. There is no lobby with a fancy receptionist or anything like that; you just walk in and we are right there working. Sometimes the neighbors from the society stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question about their accounts. It is a practical setup. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because that is not what we are here for. We just handle the work for Motilal Oswal Securities and try to stay on top of the daily tasks. When it rains, the sound on the roof is quite loud, but we just keep working through it. It is a good, honest place to spend the workday. We like being near Bhalej Road because it makes it easy for people to find us without getting lost.
