Our office is in Silhauri, which is a part of the Marhaura block in Saran. We operate out of Ashok Kumar Prasad’s place in the village tola. It is a very local operation. Maa Jagdamba Anand Construction Private Limited was started to handle construction jobs right here in our own district. We do not have a big glass building or a fleet of fancy cars. We mostly use local workers from the village who know the land and the weather here. Saran can be a tough place to build during the monsoon because the ground gets so soft and muddy, but we have learned how to manage it over the years. We do not have a marketing department writing brochures for us. We just rely on people in Marhaura seeing what we build and telling their neighbors about it. It is a slow and steady way of doing things. We spend a lot of time at the building sites making sure things are moving along properly. Ashok Kumar Prasad is usually around if anyone needs to talk about a project or a piece of land. We keep our tools and some materials right here in the village. It is a straightforward life for us. We are just local builders trying to make a living and help people get their structures put up. No big promises, just the daily work of laying bricks and mixing cement until the job is done.
